Hey there, I'm Manda.
I'm the storyteller, creative soul, and camera behind Moonblossom Photography.
For me, photography isn't only about capturing pictures— it's about capturing magic. When the shutter clicks, time doesn't stop— it breaths. These aren't images that will just sit on your screen; they will live in your memories and in the stories you tell again and again.
Each session is crafted as a quiet adventure; a storybook of who you are, what you feel, and moments you will cherish long after the moment has passed. Portraits and elopements aren't just a job to be done— they are a call to play, remember, and celebrate your most authentic self.
Why portraits & elopements?
Capturing light, connection, and all the fleeting moments between people and life.
I didn’t grow up planning a photography career — I fell into it through wonder.
My first portrait was part of a high school senior project. What surprised me wasn’t the photography — it was how people felt in their photos. One classmate said it was “the first time I really felt beautiful.” Then it happened again. Then again. And suddenly I couldn’t unsee the power of seeing someone as themselves — beautifully, authentically.
That’s where Moonblossom was born — not in technical skill or equipment, but in human connection.
I’ve always loved storytelling — the kind that unfolds naturally with wardrobe, location, light, and emotion. Portraits became my passion, but it still felt as if there was a small piece missing. And then came elopements — intimate celebrations that honor you instead of tradition. I realized that was the piece I was searching for: close moments, deep connection, real love unfolding.
That way of seeing people— intuitively, honestly, without expectation— is what shapes my approach to both portraits and elopements. I am always listening for the quiet moments, the subtle shifts, the feelings that live just beneath the surface. The result is visual stories that feel lived-in, meaningful, and deeply personal.
When I'm Not Behind the Lens
When not behind the lens, you'll often find me creating in quieter ways—throwing pottery, painting with watercolors, or making jewelry. Slow days are a blend of playing board games or getting lost in the pages of a fantasy novel while curled up with coco. Other days are spent wandering antique shops and local markets— but my favorite destination is wherever my love and I adventure next. It's a life shaped by curiosity, creativity, and cherishing the enchantment of everyday moments.
